You may know Udit Narayan if you're an Indian movie fan. He's sung for more than 300 movies in 15 different languages, and has over 10 million albums sold in India alone. It was my birthday last month and I wanted to get myself a few songs that I had always meant to buy but never got around to it. So when I found this collection on Amazon with 102 tracks (both old and new) of his work, my decision was made! And the best part is that they were really affordable too; I paid about $18 USD for my purchase after they ran out of stock on the album's launch day. I'm a happy camper now :) A little about Udit Narayan: He was born in a family of musicians and started singing as a child. His first big break was with the film "Silsila" in 1990, but he became a household name later after singing for Aamir Khan's hugely successful debut movie "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak". In the last 15 years or so, he has sung for almost all well-known music directors in Bollywood, including R. D. Burman, Nadeem-Shravan, Anu Malik and A. R. Rahman, among others. He has also lent his voice to documentaries, anti-war campaigns, and advertisements. His unique style of singing is loved by all music lovers. The song "Sare Jahanse Accha" was used as the background score for the movie Just Married (2007). He is also the winner of the titles of "Bollywood's Most Favorite Male Singer" and "India's Most Loved Male Singer". He was awarded with Best Male Singers Award at the Nandi Awards 2009. He won the Best Singer Award at Stardom Awards 2010. You may know Udit Narayan if you're an Indian movie fan.
